Upromise - Using eCoupons to earn money for college

The latest eCoupons that I've learned about are the Upromise eCoupons.  Is anyone registered at Upromise?  It's a free program that allows you to save money for college when you spend money or in this case save money.  The money you save by using these eCoupons will be deposited directly into your Upromise account.  Plus, you can stack manufacturer's coupons with any Upromise eCoupon!  Basically it's an easy way to earn a little money to go toward college savings.

First you will need to go HERE and see what stores in your area are participating in this program.  In the Southeast, most of the large grocery chains are participating (Publix, Bi-Lo, Kroger).   The next time you go into your local grocery store, make sure to go by customer service and ask for their Upromise card.  This is the card that you will upload eCoupons to.  If you store already has some sort of bonus card or such that you have scan to receive sale prices at checkout, then you will use this card.

To get your eCoupons:

1. Sign up at Upromise.

2. Click on eCoupons and select the coupons you want to load to your card.  My suggestion is to load them
     all just in case.

3. The first time, you will need to enter your bonus card information before you can activate the coupons.

4. Scan you card at checkout for the coupons to be used and credited to your Upromise College
     Savings Account.

You can also enter your main credit card so that you can earn money toward your Upromise account with every qualifying dollar you spend.  You can also go through the Upromise website to shop your favorite online stores to earn money back when you shop online.  It's a pretty simple way to save a little money for college.
